Guitartutoronline.com

March 20, 2007

This site promotes a comprehensive guitar lessons CD-ROM written by the author of the site. Judging from the free sample songs listed such as Hotel California and I’m a believer, the CD-ROM would probably be well worth the $10 he is charging. The 13 free lessons on the site go into great detail and are well laid out.

Guitarteacher.com

An interesting lessons site which also offers free group lessons over the internet. There are quite a few good lessons for free in the archives section, although some of the links are broken. Most of the lessons have audio as well which makes it easier to follow. You have to install their plug-in to hear the audio files.

They sell CDs on various styles for $10.99 each.
